MILFORD – The Auxiliary of Milford Memorial Hospital will host a fundraising event, “Artisans and Antiques” at the Milford Century Club building on Church Street to benefit the purchase of a new van. The van, valued at around $50,000, will be used to transport Bayhealth’s cancer patients.
The main event opens to the public on Saturday, March 25, from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. There is a $2 admission fee.
Artisans, by invitation, include: Anne Carroll, printed notecards from paintings; Alice Cataldi, knitted accessories; Deandra’s Creations: Diane and Bruce Fisher, Country Flowers; Nancy Kemble, The Squirrel’s Nest Candy; Vicki Mulligan, paper artist; Judy Struck, painted slates from Avenue United Methodist Church; Gail Gingrich, Beach Stone Jewelry; Jean Mazur, painting and mosaics; Brenda Williams, beaded jewelry; Liz Irwin, wire-wrapped dichroic glass jewelry, and others. Linda Sockrider will offer antiques.
Proceeds will be used to support the Auxiliary’s commitment to patient care services. For more information, call 302-422-8620.
