MILFORD – Sametone Corvil, 19 of Milford, was arrested April 13 for offensive touching and criminal mischief under $1,000 during a prior incident occurring back in March.
The Milford Police Department’s Patrol Division responded to the 300 block of Carlisle Lane March 20 at approximately 2:46 p.m. for a domestic incident, according to Det. Timothy Maloney.
Officers made contact with the victim who said that Corvil had engaged in a verbal altercation with her in the area of Salvation Army located on SE Front St. The victim advised officers that Corvil allegedly took her cell phone from her and repeatedly threw it on the ground, causing it to break. He also allegedly pushed her in the chest. Corvil then left the area. Warrants were obtained for Corvil as a result of this incident.
He was taken into custody without incident April 13. He was arraigned through Justice of the Peace Court 2 and released on $100 unsecured bail with a no contact order with the victim. He was order to appear at a later date in Sussex County Court of Common Pleas.
