‘A Christmas Carol’ comes to downtown Milford

MILFORD — The holiday season kicks off in a classic way as Second Street Players present “A Christmas Carol” by Charles Dickens Nov. 25, 26, 27 and Dec. 2, 3 and 4. Friday and Saturday curtain is at 8 p.m. Sunday curtain is at 3 p.m. All performances will be held at the Riverfront Theater at 2 S. Walnut St., Milford. Tickets are $17 and can be purchased at brownpapertickets.com or by calling the box office at (800) 838-3006.

Charles Dickens’ “A Christmas Carol” tells the story of a bitter old miser named Ebenezer Scrooge and his transformation into a gentler, kinder man after visits from the ghost of his former business partner Jacob Marley and the Ghosts of Christmas Past, Present and Yet to Come. A most familiar and most welcome story of the Christmas spirit for the whole family to enjoy!

Directors Don Lonsky and Lezlie Eustis bring this classic tale to life with the help of a talented cast of local actors. This classic story is fun for the whole family.
