Local artist’s painting selected for Senator’s office

MILFORD – Delaware artist Rosemary Connelly’s original painting “Lewes Harbour Marina” was one of twelve paintings by Delaware artists out of 56 submitted selected to hang in Delaware Senator Thomas Carper’s Wilmington office for a period of two years.

The painting is 12” x 36” and in an Acrylic on a 2-inch deep canvas, depicting the Lewes Harbour Marina in Lewes and was completed in 2015. It is on loan to the Senator and will hang in his Wilmington office on the ground floor of the Chase building in downtown Wilmington.
