MILFORD — Join the Milford Museum on Thursday, Aug. 13 from 6-8 p.m. for the opening of three new exhibits.

Internationally recognized woodcarver Douglas Gibson will be at the museum to talk about and demonstrate his work, plus showcase some of his favorite decoys.

The Museum will also display the recent donation of a large collection of work by Milfordian, John Ireland who was carving in the 1970’s.

In addition, “Through The Lens: The Story of Milford Photographers” will be ready for viewing.  Learn about Milford’s early photography studios and enjoy the images of people and places that they created.

Light refreshments will include a craft beer tasting provided by Mispillion River Brewing.

The Milford Museum is open from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday, and 1-3:30 p.m. on Sunday. The museum is closed on Mondays and holidays.  Admission is free. The Milford Museum is located at 121 S. Walnut Street, Milford.
