IG Burton cuts ribbon on new Chevrolet store

Burton ribbonMILFORD – The Central Delaware Chamber of Commerce (CDCC) joined IG Burton and Company on Wednesday, May 27, in a ribbon cutting ceremony to celebrate the remodeling of their Chevrolet store in Milford.

This four-month, $1.3 million remodeling project included adding in all of the essential brand image elements required by General Motors.

This project mainly consisted of remodeling all customer touch point areas. An additional drive thru service drive was added for the convenience of customers and to get them out of the weather when coming in for a service. The showroom and waiting rooms feature a stunning new look incorporated with new furniture.

The lighting in the facility and on the parking lots have all been replaced with energy efficient LED lighting. These savings will reduce IG Burton’s energy consumption by as much as 70 percent. IG Burton was one of the first Chevrolet facilities in Delaware to have the EBE New look. This current remodel was the final stages of completing the interior portions of this program.

“We are just happy how the project turned out” said owner Charles Burton. “I believe strongly in investing back in our facilities and people.”
