Annual flower show to highlight ’50 years and still growing’

MILFORD – Members of the Garden Club in Milford hope locals will come out to the annual flower show Wednesday, May 25 to help celebrate an event that can only happen once: their 50th anniversary.

The flower show will be held at Avenue United Methodist Church from 1-5 p.m. and will feature competitions in design and horticulture.

Admission to the event is free.

The club maintains gardens at the Milford Senior Center, Second Street Players, St. John the Apostle Catholic Church and most recently the veterans home, all in Milford. The group is also a member of the National Garden Club.
