City of Milford truck stolen, police seek assistance

MILFORD – The Milford Police Department is asking for assistance from the public in located a city owned vehicle taken from the Milford Parks and Recreation building on Franklin Street.

The investigation revealed a white 2006 Chevrolet Colorado was taken from the parking lot of Milford Parks and Recreation shortly after 5 a.m. this morning.  The investigating officer learned the vehicle was later believed to be in the Georgetown area shortly after the theft.

The pictures below are photos of a similar vehicle and the spray tank below was similar to one in the bed of the truck.  The city of Milford logo was on both doors and the rear of the truck.  Anyone with information about this matter is urged to call 302.422.8081 or Crime Stoppers at 1.800.TIP.3333.  Tips can also be submitted online at MilfordPoliceDE.org/TIPS.
