Delaware pride to be on display during 302 Day

MILFORD — Celebrating Delaware’s unique qualities is more than a business venture for Milford resident Keith Mosher, it will soon turn into an evening of fun.

Through his business, Kam Productions, Mr. Mosher has teamed up with Arena’s in Milford and DJ Osiel Villalobos to offer 302 Day March 2 from 6–10 p.m. inside Arena’s.

Mr. Mosher will bring his products to the event with deep discounts, including hats, shirts and other items decked out with a horseshoe crab and Delaware’s area code, 302. The logo, he says, was developed when Rob Rector of Revival House Theatre asked him to put something together for an event.

“It just kind of took off from there,” he said. “It’s something locals can identify with. We have the beach and horseshoe crabs and 302 is because it’s unique for a state to have only one area code. The design I’ve been doing has become really popular.”

Now, Kam Productions’ items can typically be found inside two locations, the Brush Factory in Lewes and Lifecycle in Milford. To keep things local, he does not offer an online shop.

The entrepreneur says it’s a great way to continue focusing on the community as a business, not just a logo.

302 Day will serve as an added bonus as a customer appreciation night for Kam Productions and Arena’s alike, celebrating the successes of both businesses. Attendees can expect to find giveaways, raffles and discounts among friends while at Arena’s March 2.

“Lifecycle helped jumpstart my business. So, I thought about Arena’s to keep it local,” he said.

To top off the excitement of 302 Day, Mr. Mosher created two cornhole boards using his current logo which will be raffled off during the event. A portion of funds raised during the evening will be given to the Ecological Research and Development Group based out of Felton and designed to help local horseshoe crab populations.

“They do the ‘Just flip them’ campaigning for the horseshoe crabs. It’s a great way for us to give back,” he said.

Kam Productions will also be launching a new logo during 302 Day which will feature Delaware’s blue hen chicken.
