Magnolia man charged in parking lot dispute

MILFORD – An altercation in the parking lot of Perdue Farms led to the arrest of a 25-year-old Magnolia man April 2.

The Milford Police Department arrested and charged Robert Tyler with terroristic threatening, offensive touching and disorderly conduct for the altercation which allegedly occurred Dec. 17, 2015.

An investigation revealed that Tyler responded to Perdue Farms in order to confront another male. Once Tyler arrived in the parking lot, he located the 26-year-old male. Tyler then punched the other male in the face and threatened to kill him. The 26-year-old male then retrieved a sword and machete from his vehicle, according to police.

Tyler fled the area just prior to Milford Police arrival. Tyler was arraigned and released on an unsecured bond.
