Milford man arrested after beating, strangling

MILFORD – The Milford police arrested and charged a 45-year-old Milford man May 23 in connection with a domestic assault that left a woman bruised May 12.

The assault occurred at a residence located in the single digit block of S. Washington Street.

Willie Boyette Jr. was charged with strangulation, aasault in the second degree and unlawful imprisonment in the first degree.

An investigation revealed that Boyette came home from work and advised the 34-year-old female victim that he had a bad day at work and was still angry.

Boyette then began punching the female victim all over her entire body, ripped her clothing off and would not allow the female victim to leave the residence. Boyette allegedly began strangling the female victim.

As a result the female victim suffered a multiple bruises on her torso, face and extremities. Boyette was arraigned and committed to SCI in default of $25,000.00 secured bond.
