Milford man charged in felony theft case

MILFORD – The Milford Police Department took custody of a 48-year-old Milford man April 10 after being apprehended by the Delaware State Police.

The arrest stemmed from an incident which occurred Nov. 27, 2015 at the Valero/Shore Stop convenience store located in the 400 block of Bay Road.

Paul Francis Kelly was turned over to the Milford Police after apprehension by the Delaware State Police. Kelly was charged with felony theft $1,500 or greater and conspiracy in the second degree. Investigation revealed that Kelly and another suspect were in the parking lot of the Shore Stop store Nov. 24, 2015 when both allegedly entered the victim’s vehicle and removed the victim’s personal property from the trunk.

Kelly was also wanted by multiple courts. Kelly was arraigned and committed to SCI in default of $64,500.00 secured bond.
