Milford man sought after walking away from work release

MILFORD – A Milford man is wanted by the Milford Police Department and the Delaware State Police after walking away from his work release located near the Meadows of Shawnee May 11.

According to the Delaware Department of Correction, the Sussex Community Corrections Absconder team has partnered with local law enforcement in an effort to locate this offender.

Chad Neibert was assigned to the aforementioned community service detail for the sole purpose of collecting litter from state roadways, according to the department of corrections. Those offenders who participate in such assignments are supervised by DOC security staff. At the time in which he absconded, offender Neibert was assigned to a road crew that was collecting litter along state Route One near Milford, Delaware.
