Milford man wanted in Pennsylvania arrested

MILFORD – Ian Summers, 32 of Milford, was arrested and charged April 19 by the Milford Police Department as an out of state fugitive. He was also charged with resisting arrest.

The Milford police responded to a residence located in the 100 block of West St. after receiving information that an out of state fugitive was there. As Milford police arrived at the residence, Summers ran and attempted to hide in the basement. Summers was later found and taken into custody.

Summers was wanted on criminal charges out of Pennsylvania, according to police. He also had an active capias out of New Castle County CCP. Summers was arraigned and committed to SCI in default of $5,550.00 and is awaiting extradition to Pennsylvania.
