Milford police seek assistance in identifying assault suspect

MILFORD – The Milford Police Department is currently investigating an assault that occurred May 2 in the afternoon hours at a local business in the 400 Block of NE Front Street, according to Det. Timothy Maloney.

The assault was a result of a road rage incident that started on Route 1 and ended when the victim pulled into the local business.  The suspect approached the victim in the parking lot and began to yell and scream at the victim.  The suspect then pepper-sprayed the victim, got back into her vehicle and fled from the scene.

The suspect is described as a black female in her early 20s, possibly 5’04” with a large build. The suspect was allegedly wearing purple scrubs. The suspect was operating a dark colored 4-door sedan with Delaware plates. The victim did not required medical treatment as a result of the assault.
