Milford police seeking Ellendale man for attempted murder

MILFORD – Qualeel Wescott, 21 of Ellendale, is currently wanted by the Milford Police Department’s Criminal Division in connection with the shooting which occurred May 11 at Brightway Commons Apartment Complex.

Milford police obtained an arrest warrant for Wescott on May 13.

The second victim sought in the shooting incident, a 25-year-old male has also been identified and sustained a minor injury. The initial victim remains hospitalized in critical, but stable condition, according to police.

Warrants on file for Wescott include attempted murder in the first degree and associated charges with this incident.
