SLIDESHOW: Second annual New Year’s Day parade in Ellendale

ELLENDALE – To ring in the New Year family-style, the town of Ellendale gathered for its second annual New Year’s Day parade today at 2 p.m.

True to Ellendale parades, local emergency personnel flooded Main Street for several blocks with fire and EMS apparatuses and police vehicles new and old alike, including vehicles from the Delaware Antique Police Car Association.

Youngsters like Cub Scout Pack 911 based out of the Elks Lodge in Milford and others found riding with friends and family also enjoyed the ride through town, waving to those watching from the sidelines.
