Harrington police seeking public’s help in shooting investigation

HARRINGTON – At about 1 a.m. on June 28, the Harrington Police Department with assistance of several other police agencies responded to a report of a shooting in the 100 Block of East St. in Harrington.

According to Lt. Earl K. Brode, officers arrived at the residence and found approximately 200-300 people attending a party and police were advised that multiple people had sustained gunshot wounds.

“During the course of the investigation police determined that six victims were transported to local hospitals with non-life threatening gunshot wounds,” said Lt. Brode said.

The investigation is in its preliminary stages and no suspects have been identified at this point in the investigation.
