Milford PD made more than 800 arrests in March 2015

MILFORD – At Monday’s Milford City Council meeting, April 14, Councilwoman Katrina Wilson, a member of the city’s police commission, submitted the Milford Police Department’s activity report for March 2015.

The report detailed that a total of 806 arrests were made by the Milford Police Department in March.

Of these arrests, 278 were for criminal offenses and 528 for traffic violations.

Criminal offenses consisted of 17 felonies and 261 misdemeanors.

Traffic violations consisted of 177 Special Duty Radar, five drunk-driving charges, and 346 other charges.

Police officers investigated 45 accidents during the month (five personal injury, and 40 property damage) and issued 139 written reprimands.

In addition, they responded to 1,223 various complaints including city requests and assists with other agencies.
