Millsboro man charged for multiple vehicle break-ins

 

h-young-jrMILFORD – On July 15, the Milford Police arrested and charged a 54-year-old Millsboro man stemming from multiple vehicle break-ins throughout the city limits on July 2 and July 3.

According to Det. Dwight Young, Henry R. Young Jr. was charged with four counts of third degree burglary, theft less than $1,500, attempted theft less than $1,500, carrying a concealed deadly weapon and possession of a deadly weapon by person prohibited.

Police said an investigation revealed that on July 2 and 3, Henry R. Young Jr. allegedly broke into numerous vehicles in the 500 block of S. Walnut St., 600 block of New St. and Polk Ave.

Mr. Young Jr. reportedly entered and removed items from the vehicles. At the time of Mr. Young Jr.’s arrest he was also found to be in possession of a large knife.

He was also wanted on an active capias of Sussex County Superior Court. Mr. Young Jr. was arraigned and committed to SCI in default $6,000 cash bond.
