Police officers earn promotions, accolades

DSC_0099MILFORD — Officers Brandon E. Dodd and Miles J. Kosiorowski were recognized for their acts of kindness during the recent Milford City Council meeting.

According to Chief Kenneth Brown, Milford received a substantial snowfall with about 7.5 inches of accumulation on Sunday, Jan. 24.

While on patrol in the Hearthstone Manor development, the two officers observed a senior resident shoveling the wet, heavy snow from her driveway and immediately began shoveling for her.

The resident was so appreciative, Chief Brown said, that she sent a card to the chief letting him know what had happened.
