LINCOLN – Delaware State Police officials are investigating a crash involving three school busses and a dump truck in Lincoln.

According to Master Corporal Gary Fournier, the incident occurred around 7:35 a.m. this morning, April 16, at the intersection of DuPont Boulevard (U.S. 113) northbound and Fitzgeralds Road.

Preliminary investigation indicates there were no students on two of the busses and six students on the other bus with no reported injuries to those students.

There is one reported minor injury to an adult school bus driver.

US113 northbound at Fitzgeralds Road was closed for a few hours and commuters were advised to find alternate routes.


“Details outlining the crash will be released upon completion of the investigation,” said Cpl. Fournier.
