Greenwood High School Alumni Association announces 2015 Scholarship Awards

2015 Greenwood scholarship recipientsThe Greenwood High School Alumni Association awarded five $1,000 scholarships at its annual banquet. The recipients were Caroline Elizabeth Breeding [in memory of Kenneth McIlvain, Class of 1944]. Caroline will be attending Salisbury University majoring in Nursing. Griffin James Cyphers [in memory of Robert Messick, Class of 1948]. Griffin will be attending Christopher Newport University majoring in Biology/Pre-med. Destinee Renaee Depew [in honor of the Fiftieth Anniversary class of 1965]. Destinee will be attending DelTech majoring in Nursing. Bethany Lynn Marvel [in memory of Shirley Brown Loockerman, class of 1951]. Bethany will be attending DelTech majoring in Diagnostic Medical Sonography. Matthew Alexander Trumm [The Ethel Gibson Horner Scholarship]. Matthew will be attending Texas A&M University majoring in Aeorspace Engineering.
