The 2016-2017 School Choice Enrollment period for grades K-12 will open on Monday, Nov. 2

The Milford School District will be holding a public information night focusing on School Choice Regulations on Wednesday, October 28th from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. in the Milford Central Academy cafeteria. The topics of discussion will include information on the application process, enrollment regulations, transportation, and interscholastic sports. For further information, parents are strongly encouraged to read the laws governing the Delaware School Choice Program at http://delcode.delaware.gov/title14/c004/index.shtml

School Choice is designed to increase access to educational opportunities for all children in the state. A parent residing within Delaware may enroll his or her child in a public school in any school district independent of the student’s area of residence.
Parents choosing to send their child to a school outside their feeder pattern are responsible for transportation to the choice school or a bus stop on that school’s route. For further information, please contact the District’s Choice Liaison at 302-422-1600.
