Milford High girls’ tennis team to hold clinic for kids Friday, June 1

MILFORD – Friday, June 1, the Milford High tennis coach Jacquelyn Mullikin-Powers, with the help from the 2018 Henlopen Conference Southern Division champion girls’ tennis team, will be hosting a spring tennis clinic for kids.

The clinic, which will cover all aspects of the game of tennis and serve as a great opportunity for young players to work with high school athletes and coaches to build proper fundamentals, will cost $25 per child.

During the clinic, which will last from 4-5 p.m. at the Milford High School tennis courts (registration opens at 3:30), the kids will be grouped by age/skill level. The participants will work on skills and play in competitive games, in addition to receiving individual evaluations.

The clinic is open to any school-aged children interested in tennis. A waiver must be signed by all participants and guardians of participants under the age of eighteen at the time of registration on June 1 in order to attend.

All proceeds will go back into the Milford High Schools Girls Tennis Boosters account to fundraise for the varsity athletes to get division championship jackets.
