Dolce Bakery and Coffee Shop transfers ownership

Dolce'sA note from the new ownership:

We are pleased to announce that Dolce Bakery and Coffee Shop transferred ownership! For more than a decade, the Dolce family offered the Milford community delicious baked goods, friendly customer service, and an inviting atmosphere. Chuck Stanko and George Carroll poured their hearts into building Dolce as a successful and memorable small town business. Chuck and George decided to move on to new adventures and share their successful business with new owners, Dean and Stephenie Tatman.

Dean and Stephenie’s backgrounds are modest but their passion is great. Dean has an entrepreneur’s heart and is also the owner of Tatman Property Solutions, a lawn care and landscaping company based out of Harrington, Delaware. Stephenie has an accounting background with a love for baking and people.

Formerly as customers of Dolce, Dean and Stephenie always left with smiles on their faces because they loved the comfort of a warm coffee, a mouthwatering pastry, and the friendliest greetings from behind the counter. Dean and Stephenie dreamed of one day owning a bakery where they could offer the same experience to others. Needless to say, their dream quickly became a reality and they are incredibly humbled and blessed by this opportunity to pay it forward.

Dean and Stephenie want to continue the traditions established by Chuck and George and expand on the same experience enjoyed by the Milford community over the past decade. The recipes, staff, storefront, and community involvement will remain unchanged. All non-expired gift certificates will still be honored after the ownership transfer.

Please join us on February 6th from 10:30 to 2:00 for an open house to return to Chuck and George the love they shared with the community for the past 10 years. Dean and Stephenie are beyond excited to meet everyone and get to know the Dolce family and customers. Free samples are also available during this time period for everyone to enjoy!
